When I was looking for this phone, I couldn't find any reviews and was hesitant to make a purchase without them. But I took a chance and glad I did. The Terracube 2e is exactly what I needed. It is not to fancy but does everything a phone needs to do in today's day. My goal was to get away from...When I was looking for this phone, I couldn't find any reviews and was hesitant to make a purchase without them. But I took a chance and glad I did. The Terracube 2e is exactly what I needed. It is not to fancy but does everything a phone needs to do in today's day. My goal was to get away from Google and have more control over my data. This phone's open source software provides that. As for the phone itself, I don't like the camera but it's passable. Randomly an app I wanted doesn't work properly, but rarely. It's hardily built, I drop it daily and the case it came with plus some extra screen protectors have kept in good shape. I'm not a super tech-y person so I am not using it for any cool uses, just a smartphone outside of big tech. That said there are occasional software updates that fix previous bugs etc, you just have to be willing to roll with it.

My child has had this phone for about a month and it has been a fantastic first phone for a tween. We do not have arguments about the phone. Her only “complaint” is that the camera is not as good as on some other phones. But this has not been a major issue so far. The customer support has been stellar! I am beyond impressed by the responsiveness of the tech team who developed the app. The person who helped me knew the app very well and was a very creative problem solver. It is clear that they are invested in their product and are committed to making it the best it can be to help families manage technology for their youngsters. Thank you!!

I have a Teracube since May 2021 and everything works fine so far - I am really happy with it. I only wish the camera would be better, but as I am not using it that much, it's ok for me. Apart from that, battery is great and they have a really good replacement service (I didn't spend a single day...I have a Teracube since May 2021 and everything works fine so far - I am really happy with it. Very good reception, speed, and battery life. Has both USB-C and a classic headphones jack. Very glad that it is supposed to be easy to take apart for repairs. Compared to all the other phones out there this is solidly the best choice.

I've had the Teracube 2 emerald for some time now and have been satisfied with it. It ticked most of my boxes (removable battery, SD slot, headphone jack, FM radio) so that's good. I used it very little on OEM stock, waiting until /e/OS was available for it. Some of the following may or may not be hardware or /e/OS related. Battery life is great. Does over three days per cycle with my usage (it is not my daily driver). User experience is a bit negative as overall the device is quite laggy. Even compared to my oldest devices from years back. For instance if I go to an app's AppInfo I can literally see the permissions info change from "No permissions granted" to the actual granted permissions. But still, overall I really like the device as it fits my "computing/phoning" style. I'm not one for doing a bunch of multimedia/streaming (not ideal on this device for me) nor do I care for flagship features I'll never use. A thumbs up from me.

Great choice!
I was looking forward a less expensive version of FairPhone and I found Teracube: ecologic, minimalist and very efficient! I hope it will be widespread in Italy too! I strongly recommend it!

Best mobile phone decision I've ever made
I absolutely love it. The battery life is almost unbelievable and Puretalk works just fine in my area. The 'grippable' cover is essential for me otherwise it's like trying to grasp a slippery fish. Biggest complaint....lack of instructions on how to do ANYTHING from setup to use. Absolutely nothing...I absolutely love it. Absolutely nothing from you and very little avail on the 'net except the dozens of testaments to how long the battery lasts and the warranty. It took a couple of days of internet research to get the phone up and working. Were it not for several years in programming I would most certainly have given up. Really miss having a 'home' button at the bottom of the screen. No matter what happened on the old phone I could just hit the home button and start over. However this button is missing on the Teracube - my solution is to press the power off button and hold it until the home button shows up at the bottom of the screen. But I am exceedingly happy with the results. I encourage all my friends to consider Teracube and Puretalk. Doug Holdridge

The Cool Go Green phone
So far it's been great! Construction of the phone is sleek and well built. Has go green reusable materials and a minimalist approach as having literally no bloatware like when you buy a phone with a provider. Lastly, can't beat the price! Looking forward for Teracube products : )

I have been using Teracube2E since April 2022. I absolutely LOVE it and recommend it to all my friends! Teracube gives me great peace of mind with its customizable settings for Advanced Privacy. I also love how easy it is to swap out the Launcher with other types. I like how well it integrates with the OnlyOffice suite at murena.io and battery life is great. In short, Teracube has become my daily driver and is always with me.

It is now a month since I started using this phone. It boots pretty fast. Installing a custom rom was not hard. The battery lasts for the whole day and it charges quickly. I've had this phone for 7 months, and have been favorably impressed. It's a good, solid phone at a reasonable price. I never liked paying for a phone via my monthly bill, so buying it outright was perfect for me. I really appreciate that I'm not being tracked everywhere I go by the google Nazis. I never liked paying for a phone via my monthly bill, so buying it outright was perfect for me. I really appreciate that I'm not being tracked everywhere I go by the google Nazis. It has a built-in VPN that works great - came with Germany selected, but easy to shift it to any one of dozens of VPN sites. The camera isn't great, but it works well. I've been very impressed by the battery life - screen use is the most intense thing for it, but it will go 3 days without a charge in stand-by. The touch sensor is the best I've ever used - never a challenge to get it to work. Very few apps are pre-loaded - mostly just things that are necessary for operation. Bluetooth and WiFi are solid.

Overall it is a great mobile in terms of hardware, it handles well, battery so far is quite reliable and can go for a couple of days without charging unless you go full video. it is recomendable, specially if you're an Android user.

Can be a but slow to respond (two seconds or so) when multitasking but honestly not a big deal, the environmental ethics far outweigh minor performance.

By the time all the software updates had completed, my friend had been asked his age-range, location, gender pronouns and had been given an easy way to communicate with Amazon Shopping, Burger King, iHop and something called "Safeway." My Teracube keeps all that foolishness at arm's length, and that's why I feel surveiled. Do yourself a favor.

Overall experience has been great, it does what it claims to do and the parts are super easy to replace and the user accessible battery is a feature that I'm stoked to have in a phone again. Very impressed overall with this phone at this price point. Highly recommend.

It does what I need, it's a great size, it's easy to repair, it's not loaded with spyware, other than the google apps, but the bootloader is unlocked so I can install any ROM I want on it. It is difficult to think of things to dislike about it.

I had my Teracube 2e for a couple of months now. I like it, it is reliable, sturdy, and the battery lasts a long time. My biggest issue has been with the USBC port, which does not support most functionalities of a USBC. What do I mean? Well, I have to conect the USBC to a USBA (classic USB port) if I want to connect to my computer, and charging only works with USBA chargers. This is kind of annoying because I was expecting to integrate better with my other USBC devices. Another point a bit annoying is no 5G. For a phone I want to keep for the next 5 years, I was hoping to have a working 5G.
