Phonebot Refurbished Phone Deals: What's Worth Buying

Phonebot is an Australian online store that sells refurbished and new phones, tablets, smartwatches and accessories. Its stock covers Apple, Samsung, Google, OPPO and other brands, and prices are in Australian dollars. Most of what it sells is refurbished, which is where the savings are.

How Phonebot grades its phones

Each listing carries a condition label such as Like New, Grade A, Grade B or Open Box, alongside brand-new stock. Phonebot's own grading guide says the grade reflects cosmetic condition, not function, and that all grades go through the same testing. That means a Grade B phone should work like a Grade A one; you are trading appearance for price. If you use a case and screen protector anyway, a lower grade can be the better buy.

Current offers

Phonebot was running an early Black Friday 2026 sale at the start of November, with many listings tagged as Black Friday deals. Examples from the current list:

• iPhone 17 Pro 256GB (Grade A): $1,499, down from $1,999.
• iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB (Grade A): $1,199, down from $1,349.
• Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 512GB (Grade A): $819, down from $999.
• Samsung Galaxy S23 128GB (Grade A): $419, down from $519.
• Google Pixel 9 Pro XL 256GB (Grade A): $799, down from $899.
• Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 512GB (Open Box): $2,099, down from $2,899.

Outside the Black Friday listings there are standing discounts of up to 40% in the phone sale section, up to 45% on smartwatches and up to 50% on cables and adapters.

Who it suits

Phonebot suits Australian buyers who want a recent iPhone or Galaxy without paying the new price, and who are comfortable choosing a grade. The Galaxy S23 and Pixel 9 Pro XL deals are good value for people who do not need the latest model. The foldable deals are useful if you want to try a Flip or Fold at a lower entry price.

Warranty and returns

Phonebot's listings show a 12-month Phonebot warranty, and some products offer an extra 12 months for an added fee. Its grading guide states a 30-day change-of-mind return period across grades. The warranty does not cover liquid damage or accidental damage, so treat it as cover for faults only. The homepage advertises free shipping on most orders.
